It is amazing to me how many photos can come out of a single walk. I still have many I need to prepare to show from this one excursion. I don’t plan my photos when I go on photo walks. My walks might better be called meanders, but I don’t think people use that word too much anymore. I just see something, and for reasons I often don’t understand at the moment, that I know I need to capture. It really isn’t until I get away from the moment and work on the final rendition that I know what I was seeing.

As a photographer, I call this a color study. As an artist, it is just a moment. Andy Warhol would have understood that. Get out of the house. Capture anyting that moves you. Ask why later.
