I wanted to show something personal to the kids at Hogar Irekua that was made possible by the contribution of so many. What is more personal to a child than where they sleep? Isn’t that even more true in a house where there are eleven children and there will soon be eleven more? Sure, a bed and bedding, some clothes, a few stuffed animals – it doesn’t seem like much. But for these kids, it is clean, people care, and they are safe.
The smallest actions we take can echo through the world.
