On days like today, I’m driven back to where it is friendly and comfortable – friends, family and music. There have been so many shocks in the last year, so many tragedies it has become hard to know what to say anymore. It is becoming hard to want to know what happened and see the media pushing the victims forward to put “personality” in the bad news. I think everyone is either worn out or on the brink.

At some point, I hope people will say “enough” and demand some solutions instead of political pandering. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon unfortunately.
