This was a great concert – with some of our best. Don’t be surprised when you see more of the images I have from this one. I have too many good ones to ignore. Christian is very popular – family and friends turned out to hear him. He recently joined Enrique Iglesias as a member of his band and played in the National Auditorium in Mexico City. We get have and get great talent in Morelia, but it always nice to see someone make it that you know.

A word about the color in these and recent photos – it is entirely intentional. The color is there in the scenes, but not as intense as you see in these photos. It is a result of new LED lights at Amati that are pure color and my desire to use them to give the photos a special feeling. It is real, but also an impression. There is only one photo in this set that is tone-mapped, “Painted with Passion,” and the work on that one is very gentle. I wanted to bring out the highlights against the shadows in the faces, especially Christian’s, and tone-mapping was the tool that worked best. I hope it brings out the special atmosphere we enjoy in our concerts and allows you to feel just a bit of it yourself.
