This post includes photos from December 23, when I went down to Plaza Morelos and walked back on the Calzada and then on Bartolome de las Casas towards home. I didn’t know if the picture of the statue of Morelos in the moonlight would work – it was a very long exposure on a monopod. You can see a few short star trails in the image. “Light from Above – Christmas Noir” is a gift. I saw the scene on a whim, looking down a side street as we walked home. I really love the image of the blue window with little flecks of colored light. It is a window in the residential area of the historic Templo de San Francisco and there was a Christmas tree behind it.
