This is the last of this series. These are more usual in the sense that they are broader details, not as small as some of the others, but still – very much focused on the details that make each place unique. Another point, most of the photos in this series were shot from across the street, using my telephoto and monopod. Most streets in Centro have parking on one side only, so I try to shoot from the side with the cars and get an unobstructed view. The same lens is also a macro lens so some of the detail was taken in macro mode with the same lens.

I love this sort of work – it has application both as statements of color and shape and as location-based work.

By the way, on the preparations for the jazz exhibition – 30 pounds of archival paper arrived yesterday. Ink is on the way. Getting serious.
