Certainly, this post has a lot of photos in the set and usually, I would split it into more than one entry. But, I have a limited amount of time and I do think it deserves some continuity. Versus 8 is celebrating 15 years of work as a percussion ensemble, but for this particular concert, they were joining with the university in the celebration of 100 years of service. It was a wonderful concert, I only wish more people had the time to enjoy their work on this particular night. Percussion groups do get some notice, but for the amount of work it takes to mount a performance like this one, not nearly enough in my opinion. If you get a chance to see them or some of the other top level groups like them – do it.
