Yes, that is a man, hanging in the air. No, he is not suspended from a wire. No, he will not land on a well-padded athletic mat. He is actually flying at a very high rate of speed. This is Lucha Libre. It is just as dangerous as it looks, but these guys are well practiced. That doesn’t make it easy, but it is a high-flying mixture of acrobatics, martial arts, and showmanship. Oh, did I mention this was a beer festival? Yes, there was that too.
