One A Day – 179
Like a slice of French apple pie, we stare at the corner of the Hotel Virrey de Mendoza on a rainy summer evening.

“OK, Mike – this is the second time in the 179 picture run of this series you were late a day. What’s up with that?”
“Ah, hmmmm. Let’s see. Does working until after midnight count as a worthy excuse?”
Yes, it is true – I didn’t get it done first thing in the morning and by the time I turned around and figured out it still wasn’t done, my vision was blurred and my head was stuffed with database terms and and lines of code. It’s not a state aligned with developing a view of a French-inspired, colonial masterpiece that sits over-looking the Plaza las Armas.
But, in my defense, I would not have even tried to post this picture at that time. The balance of lines and colors in a picture of a busy architecture, edge-on, is not what people ordinarily try to capture. It takes a little getting used to, even for me.
There will be another today to make up for it. I know – promises, promises.
