This morning I just wanted to pick some pictures from my library that were worthy of a spilt tone treatment. You will notice (I think) that the highlights are one color and the shadows are another. It changes the dynamic of the picture – in the picture of Omar, I pushed the shadows to blue to offset the warmth of the shadows.  In the other two, the highlights are a creamy yellow and the shadows are a blue that fits the mood.
