When I do a series of photographs that I know has some really special shots, I’m like a kid in a candy store. I can’t wait to get home and see if  captured what I saw in the scenes when I was on the street. Sure, I have the LCD on the back to look at photos after taking them. But in comparison to what I see and enhance in post processing – that is only an indication that the framing and exposure is right. Much of the magic for me is taking the raw shots and bringing out their special qualities.

I suppose 400 posts, most with three or four photos each, is something of a milestone. It doesn’t feel like it. It has become a passion and something of an obligation. There is nothing wrong with that – it has given me an opportunity to grow my vision of what I am doing a lot.
