These photos were taken during a recording session with the Ióni Trio in the conference area just down the hill from the historic main campus. The group has done several sessions that are available to listen to on SoundCloud on David Blink’s account. I encourage you to go and listen to them as you look at these photos. You will better understand the mood and style of the group, which I believe would be better understood as sound meditations than jazz, although all three members of the trio are quite accomplished jazzmen. There will be more from this session.
