Living Room Jazz Sessions Morelia is a project by Flavio Meneses to provide an intimate setting where small concerts can happen, be recorded and our community can experience the language of jazz. This is the second session I’ve been to – the first was an initiation of the concept and just a few of us were invited. This time the audience was larger, the music was classic jazz pieces and as always, the musicians were top notch.

The space really is a living room – and the audience was very appreciative of being part of the evening.  I support the effort because we certainly need more opportunities for our musicians to be heard and play together. I have more photos of the event – tomorrow….
