I have a bit of a problem with this concert. I took too many good photos to stop at one or two posts. It looks like there will be three now. What are the odds of this happening? Well, the lighting is generally pretty challenging. It may surprise you but, musicians move – a lot! So if I am shooting at a slow speed, and I am a lot of the time, I get a lot of shots that are just soup, no detail. That isn’t always a problem, if it is a neat blur, I use it – but the odds of getting a neat blur should tell you it is more luck than planning. I’m pretty good at it – but still – I’m pretty lucky a lot of the time.

For the second posting from a concert, I usually look a little harder for opportunities to do something really creative. Now since I am heading to the third post for this concert, you might think I’m going to get a little cramped, looking for opportunities. As you can see from this post – it hasn’t happened. This post is double the number I usually post in the second round and I am not close to being out of material. Mike, you have to pace yourself.

The only reason this happened is I was really inspired by Slim, Omar, Eric, Ivan and Vic. Oh, and some of our guys that sat in at the end that you haven’t seen – yet. It really was a great concert guys. If you are reading this – thank you for what you do.
