I don’t take portraits too often and these are casual at best. Amati had Rotem Sivan playing last night on tour and just ahead of his date at Zinco in Mexico City. Those of us who saw him on tour last year were delighted and we filled a small table as he filled the house with his music.

The light in any jazz club is iffy at best, so I was lucky to catch these. I’m lucky too that these are trusting friends. Otherwise I might not have survived the night after capturing their souls on my memory card. There are a lot more photos of the musicians to be edited from the night, but I have other duties to attend to, and another event to see tonight so for now…
