I didn’t intend for this post to be so “portrait-oriented” but that is how it worked out. I’ve realized as I assemble the photos for my upcoming exhibition, the majority of my best work is one form or another of portraits of the musicians at work. Formal portraits bore me, but photos of passionate people working in their art – that makes sense. I’m also enjoying variations on the impressionist styles I am using as a way to highlight what I see in a photo. What good is producing a piece with an opaque intent?

So – yes these are very individual points of view. It is what it is. Time for some photowalks? Yup.
