The Casa de Cultura offers many workshops, classes and spaces for the arts and teachers in Morelia. The events they offer are free and open to the public. This was a session with a small dance group in front of family and friends. Age and experience don’t matter, anyone can participate. Dedication and participation are required.

Many years ago, I did some work with dance groups and enjoyed doing it very much. Dance is by its nature an ephemeral performance. Taking photos or video only gives one context. Dance carries many in its work. So, I have always taken time to interpret dance and performance in a way that I hope conveys the essence of what I see. I used motion blur, sepia toning and impressionist style to carry these. I want to do more and I’m sure I will.
