The historic Centro area of Morelia has been through a bit of a renovation lately. Some of the streets between Madero (the main street of Morelia) and parallel streets that carry a lot of the public transportation and deliveries have been closed and made into pedestrian walkways with benches and trees. The change has not been without controversy but those of us who walk everywhere in Centro do appreciate the change. This concert is part of a move by the city to have regular Sunday concerts on one of the close streets next to the Jardin de las Rosas. It is a nice place for small concerts and the music fills the jardin as well.

This was a Sunday concert with a quartet of saxophones playing classical music. It was good to hear and see in the park. There will be more I’m sure.
