Juan Alzate is a respected and loved leader of our jazz community and teacher. I wouldn’t be surprised if his legacy includes thousands of students. Without him, I doubt we would have the depth we have in our community. His quartet is always good t to hear. Unfortunately, the keyboard could not join them, but they kept things on track just the same.
