If there’s anyone who has sustained us through the pandemic, the closures, the isolation – it’s our blues groups, with JC Cortes and Chris Sanchez. They have played for us at Amati when there were few places that provided live music and the played the music of isolation, sadness, and hope – the Blues. We’re back in a time of restrictions because the Delta variant has brought an increase in infections, but we’ve still got the Blues.
