Gadjo is a gypsy jazz group from Guanajuato in the style of Django Reinhardt and his music in France from the 1930’s and 40’s. I love their music and style – it is hard to imagine anyone doing more to both capture and advance the beauty of French Hot Jazz with such flair.
There is a range of styles in these photos. They are attempts to capture the spirit of the moment in images. I don’t know that I did them justice, but I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to try.
There is more from this appearance – and I will post it soon. They plan to be back in a couple of weeks for another concert. I wait as an avid fan.
