Jazztival is a yearly festival of jazz held here in Morelia. It includes jazz groups from other places (this year focuses on Europe) and our own jazz community. The events are held in cities around Michoacan and here in Morelia – this year in an outdoor theater that is a part of the Casa de Cultura. I am very happy to see the events and my friends in the jazz community getting a chance to be on stage in during the festival. They are all free and worth the time to be a part of.

Rodrigo and his group gave us a great concert. Like everything Rodrigo does, it was carefully thought out and performed. There will be several posts from the festival this year – stay tuned.
