A very unusual day. I was invited to breakfast and lunch by friends. It was nice moment, but different. Breakfast was at a small cafe attached to a hotel with several friends that I don’t get to cross paths with too often. Enchiladas in green salsa with cheese, good but not exactly on my “diet.” Yes, I am dieting by the way. Lunch with another friend at Boca del Rio, near the Conservatorio in Centro. Good food – well prepared, nicely presented – a choice we both said was worth another visit, but we’d be happy with a couple of ceviche tostadas and a bowl of soup. The plates are huge. Really.

Because of the distance between the places I went that day, there were several long walks. This is a good thing.
